  44. Installation Help
  45. =================
  46. If you have received Missile Master as a 'ZIP' file (ie:
  47. MIMA262.ZIP), simply unzip the files to a floppy disk.
  48. Then from within Windows, choose [RUN...] from the Program
  49. Manager's [FILE] menu and type 'A:\SETUP' (or 'B:\SETUP',
  50. depending on where the disk is).
  51.  
  52. Please note that Missile Master requires VBRUN200.DLL.
  53. If you don't have VBRUN200.DLL, many BBSs have
  54. VBRUN200.DLL available as a separate download, usually called
  55. VBRUN200.ZIP or something similar.  Once obtained, place it
  56. in your Windows System directory (usually C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM).

  59. Batch File Installation
  60. =======================
  61. If you have problems using the Windows SETUP automated
  62. installation routine, I have provided a batch file to
  63. automate the installation.  You must be logged to the
  64. directory where the batch file exists.

  111. icon to run Missile Master.  Refer to your Windows
  112. documentation if you require help in this area.

  115. Shareware Limitations
  116. =====================
  117. This Shareware version of Missile Master is limited in these ways.
  118.  
  119. 1] There is an opening 'Nag' screen
  120. 2] Maximum level to play is 25
  121. 3] Maximum starting level is 5
  122. 4] The 'Unlimited Missiles' option is unavailable
  123.

  127. Distribution Guidelines

  129. Here are a few rules I require any potential disk
  130. distribution services to adhere to:

  134.     The following rule(s) apply to everyone (individuals
  135. and organizations):

  137. 1.Absolutely no changes, additions or deletions to the
  138.   program code, data or documentation files are to be made
  139.   without the prior written consent of Nisus Development &
  140.   Technology.
  141. 2.Nisus Development & Technology reserves the right to
  142.   prohibit any organization or individual from distributing
  143.   Missile Master if the guidelines listed below are not
  144.   followed.

  146. Retail Shareware Vendors and CD-ROM Distributors
  147. ------------------------------------------------
  148.     Retail Shareware Vendors and CD-ROM Distributors must contact Nisus
  149. Development & Technology to negotiate royalty terms.  If you do not contact
  150. Nisus before including Missile Master in a retail environment or in a CD-ROM
  151. collection, you will be in direct violation of copyright laws.
  152.     Nisus has adopted this policy because of confusion caused when users
  153. purchase a disk in a retail setting or CD-ROM collection.  Some users
  154. incorrectly assume that because they have paid for the disk or CD-ROM, no
  155. further payment to the author is required.  This has caused several angry
  156. calls to some shareware authors from irate users who don't understand why
  157. they must pay twice for a program.  Your understanding is appreciated.
  158.     Many reputable retail shareware vendors and CD-ROM distributors have
  159. already adopted royalty policies with shareware authors.

  161. Catalog Disk Distributors and Vendors

  163.     You are hereby granted a non-exclusive license to include Missile Master
  164. Shareware Version in your catalogs provided:

  166. 1.Your catalog must make it clear to the buyer that a disk purchase from you
  167.   does not include registration of the programs on that disk.
  168. 2.No more than $10US is to be charged for a disk containing Missile Master
  169.   and other programs.
  170. 3.If Missile Master is the only program on the disk, no more than $5US may
  171.   be charged.
  172. 4.You must inform me by mail that you have decided to include Missile Master
  173.   in your catalog.
  174. 5.You mail Nisus a copy of your catalog issue which contains Missile Master,
  175.   and any review you might have done.
